MTA Based Root Canal Sealer

CENTRIX DENTAL is proud to introduce:

FillApex MTA Based Root Canal Sealer

The MTA (Mineral Trioxide Aggregate) as a Root canal repair cement became available in the market in 1998 and it turned out to be a “miraculous” material in the field of Endodontics, due to the scientifically proven excellent results.

MTA as a component means

  • Perfect sealing (provided by its setting expansion),
  • sealing integrity (provided by its low solubility) and
  • The highest biological regeneration (provided by the release of calcium ions and their antimicrobial action).

Fine trioxides

  • tricalcium oxide,
  • silicate oxide,
  • bismute oxide

and other hydrophilic particles

  • tricalcium silicate and
  • tricalcium aluminate,

Is responsible for the chemical and physical properties of this aggregatethat sets in the presence of moisture

MTA-Fillapex is the first root canal sealer with MTA – based technology.

  • Biocompatible – Tissue healing with little inflammation.
  • Radiopacity – 77% greater than 3mm Aluminium scale
  • Working Time – 23min
  • Setting time – 2 Hours and 10 Minutes
  • Flow rate – 27.66mm
  • Film thickness – 39.6
  • Setting expansion of 0.088%
  • Solubility – 0.1%
  • absolute zero shrinkage
  • Past/ Past Automix syringe

MTA is a endodontic Root Canal Sealer that

  • is extremely biocompatible,
  • capable of stimulating healing and osteogenesis,
  • and is hydrophilic

This cement is different from other materials currently in use because of its biocompatibility, antibacterial properties, marginal adaptation and sealing properties, and its hydrophilic nature.
